Building of Models
We prefer that models are built and cleaned before arrival however we can also do this for you for 30% of the quote. This involves cleaning of mold lines, building the figures and any work deemed necessary such as drilling gun barrels etc. This cost covers materials and time needed to build your models.
The client would be expected to send sufficient information for us to build the models to your requirements.
Purchasing of Models
We can purchase models on your behalf directly from the manufacturer or a trusted independent stockist. The funds for purchasing models must be paid in full and before the project starts. The cost for purchasing of models is sent via a separate invoice via Paypal.
Alternatively you can have models shipped directly to our studio.
Simple conversions are covered in the Building of the Models quote as above, however if you’re looking for something more extravagant or some sculpting these are quoted separately, simply contact us and we can give you an estimate!
Time Frame of Commissions
We will calculate how long it will take us to complete your commission during our initial emails.
Commission dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and other working delays. Any issues will be discussed with you and new arrangements made upon both party agreements if there is a possibility of a delay.
Payment of Commissions
We ask for 50% of the commission fee if the project is £100 or more, or in full if the project is less than £100, up front to cover the costs of paints and materials we use as well as securing yourself a commission slot. When the project is complete and you are happy you simply pay the other 50% (if the project is £100 or more) plus any shipping costs, and we post the models!
Payments are made via our business Paypal account. When you are ready to pay the deposit we send over an invoice using Paypal invoicing tools for payment.
Deposits are non-refundable if you wish to cancel a project (see the terms and conditions), however all models will be returned unless work has already begun on the project.
Postage of Your Models
We ask for you to pay the cost of postage. We are based in the UK so bear this in mind with postage costs if you are abroad. We pack models in the best method we can, with foam and/or bubble wrap. We always advise to pay for the insured and tracked methods of postage so that your models arrive safely.
We advise you of shipping costs before posting, and once you advise us which shipping service you require, we will invoice accordingly via Paypal.
